Adoption Procedures
NOTE: Please make sure you have seen the website page of the cat you are applying for. There may be more information about the cat that you haven't seen yet, especially if you are coming from Petfinder or Adoptapet. To check, click on the Adoptable Cats tab, above. Then find and click on the thumbnail of your chosen cat. There will be a button there for the application.

1.     Look over the selection of cats via website and complete the adoption application below. We'll get back to you within 24-48 hrs.
2. Submit home pictures to [email protected], as noted in the application. If approved, we'll arrange a kitty "Meet & Greet."
3. If we agree it's a good match, you will receive a Welcome letter and a copy of the Adoption Contract. A delivery time will be arranged.
4.     Delivery Day. Be prepared to spend the entire day and evening home with your new pet. This is their big day!! The Adoption Contract will be completed and signed at this time and the adoption fee will be collected. You may pay by cash, check payable to Lifeline for Pets, Zelle ([email protected]), or credit card (use the Donate button on our website).
5.     2 Week Trial Period. During or after that time, together we will determine whether you will keep the pet or return it to us. We want it to be a good fit.
Adoption Fees cover vaccinations, de-worming, FELV/FIV tested, vet check, spay/neuter, microchip.
If it's a "courtesy post," fee and requirements may differ. Be sure to inquire.
1 cat = $150
2 cats = $200
Senior cat (over 8) = $100
Senior for Seniors = $75
