We know you have many choices, but the best reasons for you to adopt from us are:
- a) being a small rescue, we know our cats extremely well and we work hard to find the best homes and the best fit for a win-win situation;
- b) we are no-kill, unlike some of the large facilities, and we have excellent veterinary partnerships to insure that our cats and kittens are in the best of health;
- c) after you adopt, we are always there for you.

Brief History of Lifeline for Pets
Lifeline for Pets was formed in 1981 upon the joining of forces of Lynne Jordan and Midge Poynter, two devoted Pasadena-based animal rescuers. We were incorporated in California in 1982 with the aim to rescue animals who would lead lives of misery or not survive. The organization and its volunteers have been devoted to rescuing cats and dogs, placing them up for adoption, or if unadoptable, providing lifetime shelter and care. All animals that come into our care are spayed or neutered. For Lifeline for Pets, rescue means taking full responsibility for the lives and care of cats and dogs. We love them for life!
