These two are just gorgeous! If you love fluffy, long-haired felines who are very sweet, they are for you! Both will require much attention to being groomed by you in order to keep their fur shining, soft, and mat-free. Thomas, the regal looking dad, is all soft shades of gray, while Twyla, his pretty daughter, has a white chest and white boots. Both love to hang out in their comfy cat tree.

No, she’s not a Las Vegas showgirl! She’s just a beautiful young soul who needs a forever home. But be prepared—she will definitely dazzle you when you learn how she has survived through some challenging situations, by no fault of her own. We would love to find an adopter for her. Dazzle is understandably shy and will take some time to trust. She also has IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and is on sensitive stomach food and a probiotic for her soft, but not watery, stools. Yet, have no fear, she is diligent about using the litter box. Dazzle is easily held and plays with toys. You just want to take her in your arms and love and comfort her! Look at her beauty and ask yourself how it is that this precious girl has not yet found a home. It should be a calm, quiet home, probably with no other pets or young children. She will play some in the morning and sleep during the day while you are perhaps away at work, and then get more of your attention in the evening. Could your home be the one?

From foster mom: Bristol was soooooo sad the day he arrived alone. He spent the first 24 hours with his nose in a corner behind my desk, inconsolable. But he cheered up immediately when his sister and lifelong buddy got here. It seems clear to us that they would do best as an ongoing twosome. They are the best of friends and bring out the best in one another.
|
Adorable! Bristol is a sweet, cute buff-colored orange tabby. He is curious, alert, and very playful! Might be a bit shy at first, but will come around quickly and be quite friendly. He isn't an immediate cuddler, but really likes to be pet and brushed. He has a torbie sister named London, who is very, very shy. However, she is an amazing huntress! Ever since she was a kitten she would attack that feather wand with gusto. That could be the way to win her trust! It will take her a few months to get acclimated, but they both rely on each other.
They are currently being fostered, and their foster mom reports that they are both showing good progress. Click on any picture to see full size slideshow. |

Inseparable!
BLINKY & RAVEN
Female & Male BFFs
Born 8/2015
See Adoption Procedures page to apply.
They qualify for our "Twofur" Discount!
Sponsored by Julie E.
Quote from one of our amazing socializers:
My special little loves, inseparable little loves. I have noticed that both Raven and Blinky are out now all the time, searching for me and stay by my side. Blinky loves to follow me around and now her boyfriend Raven is doing the same thing and I can fully pet him now. He seems to follow the lead of his special lady friend. Still a little shy to new people, but Raven loves to play with a feather wand or string toys with feathers on it. My little Blinky just wants to follow me wherever I go, with her tiny meow. I don’t think I’ve even heard Raven meow yet. They are so sweet to watch. These two little kitties will add the perfect “Chi” to their new family, preferably a more quiet family or senior. (Chi is the balance of negative & positive forms in the body and believed to benefit good health.) |
Two sweet peas in a pod. Rescued together, they are inseparable little loves. They will bring somebody a lot of joy and happiness. Blinky is more social and loves attention and will follow you around, while Raven is a tad more shy. However, lately, he has followed his girlfriend’s lead, has come out of his shell, wanting to be pet. Raven absolutely loves to play, while Blinky would prefer to just follow you and ask for more pets. Both would be a little shy to a new home at first, but it is worth the wait, just watching these two cuties who grew up as babies, still madly in love with each other. Both have silky fur coats, but Blinky has a little petite body and little legs, while Raven is a little bigger and normal size. Both have beautiful golden eyes.
NOTE: As mentioned, both will be shy and will hide in a new environment with new people. Probably very shy. It is questionable if they would ever want to be held and cuddled, and carrier training would definitely be needed if trips to the vet are to go smoothly. Please think carefully before applying for them. An experienced adopter, with no other pets or young children, would be priority. Do watch the videos. Click here for more info about black cats. Adopting with another fur friend helps to make the new transition less scary for both. Often one of the bonded duos makes the breakthrough, then the 2nd cat will follow. When you see them starting to bond with you, it’s the best feeling in the world!!!!!!!! You never need to worry when you have to be away longer periods at a time i.e. work or events, you have peace of mind because the kitties have each other. Just provide them with a few toys, music, or animal tv, and they will be very content until you arrive home. |

This is our Benny Boy, sweet, loving, good natured, and who loves all other cats. Benny Boy would just love to be your cuddly partner. We haven’t discovered even any flaws with our Benny. He also loves to play with his toys and strings, and will just follow you around spreading his love, and receiving your love. Benny was rescued off the streets but he was social and therefore he was at one time, somebody’s pet, lost or abandoned. Being on the streets, he did contract FIV+, but he is a healthy kitty, and FIV+ is not easily transmitted to other cats. FIV+ is transmitted thru severe bite wounds. Because Benny loves all cats, and has never been aggressive, always walks away from any cat who is feisty, FIV+ is a NON issue, and we can advise. An FIV+ cat can live as long as any cat who doesn’t have FIV+. Benny would best be adopted with one of his pals at the rescue. He has several because he gets along with nearly every cat we have. If you are interested in a sweet cuddly boy kitty, and are ok to adopt and love at least two kitties, please contact us. Benny would love to love you!!!!!!
See his VIDEO, called "Benny, the Boyfriend," above. Click for more about black cats. |
NOTE: Most FIV+ cats can be with other kitties and never affect the other cat, and it’s only thru deep wounds from fighting that transfers the disease. Many FIV+ cats can stay healthy. When kept indoors, proper nutrition and a few check ups as with any pet, FIV+ cats can live to an old age.
He looks like fragile lace, but Hopper is all boy!
However, he may not be the right boy for you, becauseHopper can be very shy and moody. He does not like to be held, which would make it difficult to put him in a carrier. He was returned from a previous adoption because he would hide and hiss. It’s very difficult to handle him. Sometimes he can be petted if he’s on the top of his cat tree. It could take him months to become more handleable, if ever. He used to be a little friendlier, liked to be petted on top of his cat tree, and liked to hang out with his other feline pals, but he almost never could be picked up and cuddled. We think that if he is adopted again, it has to be just the right person. He would probably do well with another friendly cat, too. If adopted he will likely hide for quite a while, but with encouragement and a calm and quiet home, possibly with another friendly cat, he may adjust. We just can't guarantee it. Hopper will come neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. White goes with everything Click on any picture to see fully. |

Sneakers

Sneakers is sponsored by Susan M.
Sneakers is shy but sweet. He's a big boy, a gentle giant, but will need time to get used to people. He gets afraid when he is picked up, but it can be done. He lived on the streets, mainly in a one block area. Everyone knew him and fed him and with at least one person he would go in that person's house and hang out on the sofa, then later amble outside again. We think that if someone has a screened in porch or patio where he can have fresh air, birds to watch, etc., he would LOVE that. But watch out! He was rescued from the great outdoors, and that's where he wants to be! He is an escape artist, and will try to "sneak" outside. He doesn't realize that he would be in great danger! Sneakers really enjoys petting and being scratched--if he is on the same level with you, because if he's on the floor and someone walks towards him, he runs away. That being said, you can get him back to you with FOOD! He gets along well with other cats, in fact he never once got aggressive or even assertive with smaller female cats. We don't know about dogs. Sneakers was just transitioned into foster care, along with a younger male cat, and he is predicted to show good progress.
This cutie was given a name that means "cat" in Ethiopian. Uroo is super friendly. He loves people and has a very adorable temperament as well as a soft voice. He is neutered, updated on his vaccinations, and has just had his teeth cleaned. He does require prescription food due to a urinary issue. Please do not apply yet, as we are waiting on his status.
BEST IN BLACK!
Black and dark tortoiseshell cats are often hard to place and are adopted half as often as others because they don’t “show well.” People tend to pass them by at adoption events. Please consider adopting a black cat--we have some of the sweetest ones you’ll find, both young and older.
And, if you're still not convinced, check this out . . .
