Sophie is proof that sometimes the sweetest souls are the ones who need a second chance.
Late one night, Sophie was found wandering alone through a neighborhood where coyotes are a constant danger. Instead of running away, she walked right up to her rescuer, rubbing against her leg and asking for help. Neighbors said they had never seen her before, leaving us to believe she was either abandoned or somehow lost from the home she once knew.
It's easy to see that Sophie has loved people before. She is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and happiest when she's getting attention. Even after the stress of being rescued and spending time in a carrier, she has never hissed, scratched, or tried to bite. She simply wants to be close to people.
This gorgeous longhaired tabby has also received a clean bill of health. She is already spayed, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and while she wasn't microchipped, she's more than ready to start the next chapter of her life.
