This page features cats that we post as a courtesy for other rescuers. They are not necessarily Lifeline cats, but the rescuers do follow our guidelines, adoption procedures, and adoption application, unless otherwise noted. They may not all come microchipped, but please ask about that. See our Adoption Procedures page to apply unless otherwise noted.
Thor, adorable super hero! This handsome boy survived being born as a stray, then withstood being in a cage for a few months because he was deemed "feral" when he was really just terrified. NOW he's with us and having the time of his life! Why? Because he's discovered toys! He LOVES to PLAY! We are working on getting him to accept being touched and held. Thor will need a calm, stable environment with probably no young children or dogs. However, another somewhat older cat who is mellow yet playful who could take him under his/her wing and be a good model, showing that life with humans is a great thing, would be helpful.

Won't you please open your heart and home to help Thor turn his life around? That would be purr-fect! Who knows, you may even decide that your home is his forever home!

Beautiful Iris was named after the lovely iris flower, which takes its name from the Greek word for "rainbow," and the Greek goddess, Iris, was the link between heaven and earth. Today, "iris" means faith, hope, and wisdom. Our beautiful Iris has faith and hope that she will be welcomed into a loving home, especially since she spent most of her kittenhood as a terrified but non-aggressive stray. That's why she became so skittish. We would love an experienced foster to help her learn to trust and feel the bliss of being petted. Is yours that special home? Iris will need a calm, stable environment with probably no young children or dogs. However, another somewhat older cat who is mellow yet playful who could take her under his/her wing and be a good model, showing that life with humans is a great thing, would be helpful. Purr-haps Iris will bring you the gift of faith and hope, and a little wisdom, too!

Just can't resist the comparison with Wonder Woman because the meaning of Maude's name reminds us of her--strong and mighty! It fits her, because she'll need that strength to fight her shyness. You see, she is terribly afraid and needs to overcome her fear. It takes strength to run from people and keep herself hidden. Maude just needs someone to show her how to use her strength to find the powers of courage and trust. We feel that once she gets a taste of the blissful feeling of being petted and loved on, she'll have a breakthrough. It could take a long time for that to happen, but if one is patient and has a calm and stable home with no children or dogs, please consider fostering her.
Jewel is a 9 month old short haired tuxedo female Kitty with the cutest little black nose! Jewel was living on the streets when she became pregnant at 4 months old! She was taken in by a kind neighbor so she could nurse her babies, but nobody wanted her once all the babies went to the new homes. She can be a little on the shy side, but really loves to be petted and given attention, and treats. She's a very laid-back kind of girl. Her favorite thing to do is to run around and play with her best friend, El Gringo. Jewel is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccines, microchipped, and combo tested negative for FIV and FELV. Born 1/2021.
El Gringo is a male, white and orange tabby. He's a very curious, big and playful kitten!! One of his favorite things to do is to sit in front of whatever it is you're doing to get your attention! He loves to follow his humans around the house. When it's time to rest, he looks to lay next to his people and will make muffins on your blanket and purr the night away! He'd do great in just about any household. El Gringo is up-to-date on his vaccinations, has been neutered, and combo tested negative for FIV and FELV. Born 3/2021.
